What the people I built it for say.

Alena FelczánováČeské mýdlo
On his first pass over the shop Patrik found something I had no idea about: the backup plugin was not installed at all and the last full backup was almost a year old. He also fixed a catalogue link that led to the terms and conditions, and the Google descriptions that were cut off mid sentence. During the move to a new server he tracked down why the site was slowing and why the checkout kept stalling. What I value is that he always writes down what he is leaving to me and why, and when he gets something wrong he says so himself.

Alena Felczánová, České mýdlo

For companies that need a site, or have one that is failing them.

When I build a new one, I start by asking what it has to solve. When I take one over, I do not rewrite everything out of habit; I look at what can be saved.

A company that still needs a site

You do not have one, or you would rather nobody saw it. I take it from structure and copy through design to launch, not just code up someone else's brief.

A site whose developer is gone

The original firm stopped replying, put its rates up, or simply disappeared. I take the site over as it stands, access and hosting included. That includes Webflow, WordPress and similar tools.

An application that is ninety percent done

It works in a demo and falls over in production. Usually the foundations are missing, not the last feature. I tell you straight whether to finish it or rewrite it.

A site that no longer says what the company does

You opened a location, changed the offer or rebranded. The site never caught up, and it is costing you enquiries.

A shop that cannot talk to its warehouse

Connecting a store to stock, accounting or a fulfilment tool. Before I quote anything, I check whether your platform already does it.

About

Design and development in one pair of hands.

I turn ideas and underperforming websites into clear digital products, from focused improvements and new websites to custom applications.

First we define what the project needs to change for the customer and the operation. Then I design the structure and interface, build them and take the work through launch. You work directly with me throughout.

That keeps content, design and technology working as one system. You can verify the work across public websites, detailed case studies and Vystaveno, my own product taken from concept to launch.

Their design, my buildvondrart.studio

A brand studio delivered the finished design and a clear idea of the motion. I built the production site, the animation and the performance work that keeps it smooth on a phone. The live version runs at vondrart.studio.

Before you get in touch

Will you take on a site someone else wrote?

That is most of this work. I need nothing from the previous developer except access. When even that is gone, there is almost always a way around it.

Our site is in Webflow or WordPress and the person who built it is gone. Will you take it?

Yes. I need nothing from them but access, and I can work inside someone else's project without rewriting it on day one. If the tool has stopped being enough for what you need, I say so plainly and offer to move the site elsewhere.

What if the code is bad enough that starting again is cheaper?

Then I say so, even though it is the smaller job for me. Building on foundations that do not hold costs more than laying them properly.

When do I get a price?

I go through the site first and send you what I found. The scope and one figure follow from that. The review is free and commits you to nothing.

Who owns the code?

You do, on final payment. No licence, no hosting lock in, no dependency on me to publish a change.

Do you work as a subcontractor under our name?

Yes. The client, the design credit and the invoice stay with you. I have signed NDAs on this basis and I publish nothing you have not cleared.

Who actually does the work?

I do. Throughout the project you speak directly with the person building it.
